About this Incident
Responded to a leaking railcar of a highly flammable solvent. The car, which had been overloaded, was in transit when the product expanded forcing a product release through the safety relief valve. The Strike Team mobilized its chemical transfer equipment and transferred approximately 2,000 gallons of the product into a tank truck. The team also remediated the impacted soils.
